Operation Pollination is an emerging  global effort that engages you in pollinator habitat restoration, preservation and education.
You can join and make a difference in support of the environment.
Any person or organization can get involved in Operation Pollination.  It doesn’t cost anything to join, aside from the time and resources you devote to achieving your pollinator project.  Want to know which plants to use for your garden?  We will send  you a recommendation.
June 19-25, 2023 is Pollinator Week - by then you could have your garden planted.  Be a part of something big -  Operation Pollination. Pollinator

We are losing our pollinators and we can contribute to reversing this trend.  Birds, butterflies, bees, insects and small mammals play a crucial role in plant and food reproduction.  About (75) seventy-five percent of the world’s flowering plants and 35% of the world’s food crops depend on pollinators to survive.  Our Monarch butterfly population is down over 80% in the last few years. Native flowering plants attract and support the pollinators.
To Join Ssimply sign the Pollinator Pledge to become a Rotary Club of Huntley OPERATION POLLINATION    partner and include your ideas to help the pollinators. This can be as simple as planting one native flowering plant or a garden or a prairie, and avoiding or limiting pesticide use.
Send your pledge to Rotary Club of Huntley, P.O. Box 323, Huntley, Illinois 60142, or to HuntleyRotary@yahoo.com.
