Mark will help our club understand how we can include members of our community ito protect pollinators. The eastern population of monarch butterflies are classified as "endangered".  In illinois they declined by 84% from 1996 to 2014. the western monarch has dropped from 10 million to fewer than 2,000 between 1980 and 2021.

Three-fourths of the world's flowering plants and abot 35% of the world's food crops depend on pollinaton to reproduce.  We need pollinators and we need to protect them and provide areas for them to live and increase.  With Operation Pollination, we can help reverse these trends/
