polio - we need to iradicate it

John is the recipient of Rotary's Regional Service Award for a Polio Free World and is the District 7630 Polio Plus Chair for Delaware and Eastern Shore Maryland.  John is a polio survivor (Class of 1953), paralyzed from his neck down for 6 months just prior to the Salk Vaccine distribution.  He now uses a wheelchair for most of his daily mobility due to severe Post-Polio Syndrome issues.  John is a busy volunteer, board member of many organizations, and enjoys leadership opportunities. He and his wife are professional singers with "Rhapsody in 2" Duet Cabaret Act; mainly singing Broadway showtunes.
