I remember not being to impressed with the last partial solar eclipse when I was in high school (back in mumble, mumble). This time around, you could say Eclipse Fever ignited and took to kindling. I checked periodically on its progress, but several times, the clouds made it difficult. Leave it to the tech savvy youth though to get the highly coveted picture from their cell phones - my son among them - because I failed miserably. Our Solar viewing shades are tucked away for now. Here's hoping that April 8, 2024 is sunny (and unseasonably warm). - Mary Beth
