Ulrich (Rick) Greg Kuhn, of the Antioch Rotary Club, and the District 6440 Short Term Youth Exchange Program director, gave a short presentation at the April 18th meeting about Rotary's Short Term Exchange Program (STEP) for high school aged young adults. District 6440's STEP is a reciprocal program where kids will spend 3-6 weeks abroad, and a child from their host family will stay with them for a similar period - generally during the summer. The main details of STEP are:
- Ages 15-19
- Several days to several weeks long
- Don’t involve attending high school, but students can tailor their experience to match their interests
- Can include homestays, tours, and international youth camps
