Geneva Rotary held its July 7, 2020 meeting via Zoom.  Club president Paula Krapf led the meeting and there was much discussion  including -- raising funds for the club this year,  reinstating dues or partial dues, types of future meetings (in person or Zoom), possible outdoor meeting or social event.  One of the Wheeler Park pavilions was suggested.   We will have more news and information at our next Zoom meeting 8 am to 9 am  on July 21, 2020.
Paula reported that from our Virtual Swedish Days pie sales we raised  $430.  Thank you to Joe for setting this event up with Inglenook Pantry and thanks to club members and friends for their purchases.   Maybe another pie fundraiser  at Thanksgiving time?
Geneva Rotary was also awarded $100 by the Geneva Chamber of Commerce as part of the Virtual Swedish Days t-shirt sale profits.  The club appreciates the support of our friends at the Chamber for this donation.
Geneva Beautification is encouraging Rotary and others  to do regular weeding and maintenance of the knuckles on Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30  and then visiting one of the local restaurants or taverns afterwards to help support those businesses.  Karen will have more information on this  in near future  (too hot this week).
