Program: Fireside Chat – All things Rotary Club Fundraising

We had a great discussion and identified ideas for possible fundraisers.  Please take a look at this list below and feel free to email Tracy Tebear (rotary@tebear.com) on your thoughts or any other ideas that come to mind.  One topic for the fundraising committee to discuss is what options would work best for our club and could any of these ideas be combined.

1)      Some combination of one of the following: Wine & Cheese tasting or Beer & Cheese or Beer & Pizza*

2)      Make a request for donations outside of the club*

3)      5k or Stair Climb

4)      Virtual or in person Bake Sale

-          Consider selling vouchers to local bakery and restaurant for dessert for a future date

5)      Garden party with food and drinks

6)      Live or silent auction *

7)      Noteworthy speaker and fee for tickets *

8)      Service Auction *

-          Offer talents from club members

9)      Trivia Bowl *

10)   Ornament decoration party

11)   Pizzafest

12)   Breakfast with Santa

13)   Nan Sharp Dinner

-          Consider at a different time of the year?

 *Maybe could be done virtually

The fundraising committee will continue to explore these options, and everyone is welcome to join in the conversation at the next upcoming committee meeting.

11 May starting at 12pm: Fundraising Committee meeting open to all members.
