Building a more peaceful Evanston through programs that support maternal and child health
The Rotary Club of Evanston, Charitable Fund, and Board of Directors are pleased to share that they are opening a Request for Proposals (RFP) this year to provide organizations that support Evanston, and the surrounding communities, with an opportunity to submit a grant to request support for your organization.

As members of the Rotary Club of Evanston, we continue to believe that “Building a More Peaceful Evanston” is meaningful, and this year, we have chosen to focus our funding on efforts that support Maternal & Child Health, one of the Rotary Foundation’s 6 Areas of Focus. Locally and globally, our club has previously supported, and continues to support, programs in all 6 areas: Peace & Conflict Prevention/Resolution, Disease Prevention & Treatment, Water & Sanitation, Maternal & Child Health, Basic Education & Literacy, and Economic & Community Development.

With a focus on supporting peace in the Evanston community, our hope is that in providing grants to support Maternal & Child Health, we will support mothers, their children, and circumstances that may impact their health and well-being.

Grants may be submitted to request from $500 to $5,000. We will thoughtfully and thoroughly review all proposals for impact, and a total of $10,000 will be awarded to the selected recipients. Funding decisions will be communicated starting March 1st, 2018. The grant application can be downloaded here and more information is available under “Our Charitable Fund”. Completed applications may be downloaded and submitted by email to rcevanston@gmail.com, submitted via electronic survey or sent by U.S. mail to: Rotary Club of Evanston, P.O. Box 84, Evanston, IL, 60204. The application deadline is January 15, 2018. Please do not hesitate to contact us by email with any questions at RCEvanston@gmail.com.
