Mayor Craig B. Johnson stopped by lunch to proclaim October 24, 2018 World Polio Day in Elk Grove Village. Polio Plus was started in 1985 to eradicate the horrible disease Polio. Polio cases have dropped 99.9% since 1988 and the world is almost free of Polio.
