Assistant Governor, Karen Hutchings was our guest at this morning's Zoom meeting. Additionally, we did have a good turnout of members participate in the call.
The May Social Evening was held at Lake Julian on May 21st and everyone practiced social distancing. Everyone brought their own "eats & drinks" in order to comply with the Covid-19 guidelines. Sure was good to see folks in person. Hopefully, June's event will be equally rewarding.
Sue reported today that the final report for the FRG library has been submitted, and the Rotary Park committee has submitted to her the information needed to begin writing the grant for that activity. After a VERY busy couple of months dealing with grants, I think the only thing Sue wants is for us to GRANT her a little rest.
One day, two old folks were playing cards when one looked at the other and said, “Now don’t get mad at me. I know we’ve been friends for a long time…but I just can’t think of your name! I’ve thought and thought, but I can’t remember it. Please tell me what you name is.”
Her friend glared at her. For at least three minutes she just stared and glared at her. Finally she said, “How soon do you need to know?”
This year's Installation dinner will again be hosted by Dave & Andi Miller and will be held at Lake Julian Trout Farm. As of today, the date has been pushed back due to the coronavirus. Once we can start meeting publicly again, a new date will be selected. Pleased let Dave know the number of guests that you will be bringing to the enjoyable gathering.
