At today's meeting of the Rotary Club of Cary-Grove, Officer Tim Creighton received a check for $1,000 from Club President Pat Finlon. Officer Creighton was at the club's weekly meeting to discuss this year's McHenry County Police Charities' "Shop with a Cop" event, which will be held on Sunday, December 10th. Police officers from around the county will escort 200 youths on a shopping spree that will assist them in securing presents for themselves and members of their families. The program started in 1994 and involves approximately 200 volunteers, in addition to the 200 officers that participate.
