Recognizing Commitment to Rotary’s Mission: Paul Harris Fellowships Awarded

The Rotary Club of Cary-Grove was honored to celebrate the continued generosity and dedication of Linda Sorensen and Paul Schifferer, who were recently recognized as Paul Harris Fellows for their outstanding support of the Paul Harris Foundation and Rotary’s global End Polio Now initiative.

The Paul Harris Fellowship pins were presented by Cindy Finlon and Sue Maifield, whose leadership and service exemplify the spirit of Rotary. This meaningful recognition is named after Rotary founder Paul Harris and is awarded to individuals who demonstrate a deep commitment to Rotary’s mission through significant contributions to The Rotary Foundation.

Support of the Paul Harris Foundation plays a vital role in advancing Rotary’s humanitarian efforts worldwide, including the fight to eradicate polio, improve access to clean water and sanitation, support education, promote peace, and strengthen communities locally and globally.

Because of the continued generosity of Rotarians like Linda Sorensen and Paul Schifferer, Rotary is closer than ever to achieving a polio-free world—a milestone made possible through collective action and unwavering commitment.

The Rotary Club of Cary-Grove extends heartfelt thanks to Linda and Paul for their dedication, and to Cindy Finlon and Sue Maifield for their leadership in recognizing the impact of service and giving. Together, they remind us that when Rotarians invest in the mission, the impact reaches far beyond our club and our community.

Service above self—today and for generations to come.
