Rotary Club of Carol Stream took some social time and went to cheer on the professional women's softball team, the BANDITS, on a warm Sunday afternoon at the Parkway Bank ballpark in Rosemont.  According to their website, since 2005, the Chicago Bandits have been members of the National Pro Fastpitch League. The Bandits have provided the Chicago area with elite-level softball talent and entertainment en route to capturing six regular season titles and four Cowles Cup championships (2008, 2011, 2015, 2016).
The game was fast, and the stadium was full of women, kids, families, and folks enjoying a great game of softball.  Less innings and a faster game than baseball, it was interesting to see the girls play hard against the PRIDE.
