Last week Eric Smith provided his member moment. Shawn provided fun n frolics spelling medical and emergency services words as our tests. We sang Happy Birthday to Steve & Joan! Joan requested an ALL MALE CHOIR!

Our speaker was Rich Wilson representing CERT, (Community Emergency Response Team), of  Buffalo Grove. Rich explained that CERT can be activated by authorized  incident commanders within Buffalo Grove.They frequently help with traffic control to free up the police officers for their duties. CERT is also involved in Narcan training and has assisted with smoke detector installation.  Rotary helped to provide funds for the  Major Event Trailer.

SUNDAY JULY 22 Cars & Cigars Car Show - 9:00 AM TO 4:00 PM - Benefiting Special Olympics of Illinois.

Last year the BG Days Parade participants wore florescent Rotary shirts that vividly identified us as Rotarians.  Hetal is taking orders for these shirts and you can pay her for them after they arrive.  The cost is $20 plus tax and delivery fee.  Tell Hetal the size you would like at hetal1029@yahoo.com

The Firefighter of the Year presentation will be at the Village Board meeting was on Monday, June 16th Firefighter/EMS Mike Manka was the recipient.
