As a result of the concerns about strangers joining in to Zoom meetings (aka "zoombombing") we are adding 2 security features to our meeting:
1) A Password will be added to the invitation. Once you click the Zoom link, you will be asked to enter a 6 digit password. You will find that password in the email I send this Thursday morning.
2) Once you enter the meeting, you will go directly into a "Waiting Room". I will get an alert that you are there and I will then click a button to join you into the meeting.
Please make sure to type your NAME in when you join to identify yourself.
Shannon will send out the Zoom link and Password on Thursday morning.
If anyone is new to Zoom and would like to do a quick training with me, please call Shannon at 630-220-6106 or respond to this email.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to get training - it will only take a few minutes and you will be set to go to Zoom with us!
The Every Rotarian, Every Year (EREY) initiative encourages all Rotary club members to contribute $100 to help support the Rotary Foundation financially each year. All contributions to the international fund are spent on quality international Rotary projects.
It was mentioned at the Business Meeting last week that this is the time that Foundation Chair Tom usually reminds members that if they have not yet made their $100 Every Rotarian Every Year donation, and would like to do so, this would be time to make it. You can contact Treasurer Brian at bgrotarytreasurer@gmail.com and he will assist you in making the donation by credit card if you wish.
Just to remind you, our club is going forward with scholarships - this information is on our website:
