Join us for GiveNKind’s only fundraiser this year, the 5th annual Trivia Night!

 

Fill your trivia table with your most knowledgeable friends for a night of food, general trivia, and fun at Mickey Finn’s. Raise funds for GiveNKind’s efforts to connect Chicagoland nonprofits with essential products. Be sure to join the wine pull, gift card pull, and spirit toss for even more fun! This event has limited seating. Don’t delay! Buffet dinner included. Cash bar.

 

Trivia tickets are $50. Deenie is registering members of our club together as a team, so club members should register here and Deenie will register directly with GiveNKind.

Last week Lisa stepped in for Fun N Frolics testing our ability to know "Jingles". Jason provided us his member moment.

Our speakers were from Gerry's Cafe, Natalie Griffin a co-founder and Jennifer a teammate. The Cafe opened in 8/2023 and have 35 teammates. They are located on Arlington Heights Rd just south of Palatine Rd.

They provide employment to intellectual and developmental disabilities team members. They also have a team of volunteers that assist them. Stop by for a cup of coffee, muffin, scone, or lunch. They have a golf outing at Chevy Chase June 2nd which is sold out but looking for additional sponsors and volunteers.

Eric attended the Hao Dance 2025 Annual Showcase at Stevenson High School.

 

CRD is requesting a partnership with our BG Rotary in ref: to their first annual Spring Fling Dance.

Location: BG Performance Arts Center Need: 10 to 12 members.

We heard this week that Rotary District 6440 has awarded a Collaborative Grant to support the Greenhouse and Landscape Redevelopment at Neal Math and Science Academy in North Chicago. Our club is the lead club and we have joined with the Arlington Heights ant North Chicago Clubs on this grant. More information about a workday at the site is coming.
