Club member Eric, Buffalo Grove's President, announced that U.S. News & World Report ranked Buffalo Grove, Illinois, as the #2 best place to live in Illinois in their 2025-2026 report. They also ranked it as the #63 best place to live in the United States. According to a report from U.S. News & World Report, the ranking is based on factors like overall happiness, affordability, desirability, and job market Our speaker was Olivia Aguado, Public Health Liaison for Community Consolidated School District 21, who informed us about the district's Public Health Center that has been open for a year and offers health care directly to the school environment, thereby addressing barriers to access, including cost and stigma, ensuring that all students have equitable opportunities to receive timely and appropriate health care services. The District 21 Health Center aims to provide comprehensive primary and preventative physical, mental and educational health services for children and adolescents within the district. |
