Last Weeks Meeting

Last week was our business meeting where we discussed the many upcoming events our club is involved in. We had a guest, Agnieszka who is the founder of TOTS, a first-of-its-kind daycare for tots with special needs in Chicago's northwest suburbs. Our club awarded this agency with a community grant, to be funded when they were up and running, and Agnieszka was proud to announce that the first group of children will be attending the pilot program this month. Congratulations and we are proud to support this very needed service organization.

Our Club Members Attended 6440 District Conference

Santosh, Jason, Juliet and Martha attended 6440's District Conference on Saturday, "Passion to Action: Telling our Rotary Story," and listened to very inspiring keynote speakers - author Tony Bridwell and activist Eve Gomez from Rahab's Daughters, an organization combating human trafficking. There were breakout sessions for the 3 Year Action Plan, Public Image, Community Service, Membership, Rotary Means Business, the RI Foundation, Cultivating Change, International Service and Engaging Youth.
