This week Elise Larson from Special Gifts Theater will be our speaker.

Last week we had Santosh providing a history of Rotary, Fun & Folics, remotely, I think that is a first. Our speaker was Zoe McGrath from Shelter Inc.

 

Shelter has 2 group homes. They provide Emergency, Traditional, and Group Homes for FOSTER CARE. Mr Depcik stated when he was with Omni, they were a valuable tool for referrals.

 

 

 

 

We also had a great outing for the Special Leisure Services Foundation. Deenie was very happy to ride the "Bucket" to the top for the ball drop.

 

National Night was a very great night with Rotarians helping with the Rotary booth and the BG Environmental tents.

 

We also had a great day of Sales at Sunset Foods. Thanks Cass for setting that up.

The invitations have been sent out for the 50th Anniversary party Saturday October 26th.

Jason has set up all of the volunteer activities during BG Days and we need everyone to help during this busy weekend!

 

We are looking for Walkers, Candy and Water for the walkers.  If you can donate please bring to meeting on the 22nd or if you are walking you can bring to the parade.

 

 The parade route is along Buffalo Grove Road and down Deerfield Parkway ending at the Fitness Center and Reiner Park.  Rotarians will be wearing a bright “Rotarian at Work t-shirt” to highlight all the good work we do for the community.  Hetal Wallace or Juliet Ziak will be updating everyone with more information for the day as it gets closer.
