Thursday's meeting is both a zoom meeting and in-person meeting at Continental Restaurant at 12:15.  Please see President Brett's email for the zoom link.  Our speaker is Village President Beverly Sussman and the topic is the State of Buffalo Grove.

We had another successful golf outing with Special Leisure Services Foundation last week.  Due to the rain at the beginning of the outing, the traditional golf ball drop with the cooperation of the fire department was not held.  Instead the participants threw the balls and three experts (Bo, Carmen and Kathy) determined the winners.  The weather cleared and it was another beautiful day (thanks Lisa).  Thanks to the golf committee and to the staff at SLSF who did a great job organizing.

Sunday, September 19 - Green Fair at Mike Rylko Park, next to the Farmers Market, 8 am to 12:30 pm.  We will have a booth with information about our environmental projects.

 

Sunday, September 26 - Green Lake Park, 9 am to noon, shrub planting and seed collecting at Mike Rylko Park.  Please bring friends and family for this event.

One of our grant recipient, GiveNKind, a great organization that connects donors of quality goods with local nonprofits, is having a mini-golf tournament on September 12.  Details below.
