Last week Anya Tanyavutti, Exec. Director of Willow House was our speaker. Willow House provides grief support services for children and families who have lost loved ones. The organization provide in-person and virtual sessions to anyone in Illinois. They have seen an increase in participants from the Buffalo Grove community, including Spanish speaking services. Jerry provided our fun n frolics. Martha really enjoyed the singing of Happy Birthday to her as you can see!

Thursday evening many attended the GiveNKind Trivia Night fundraiser. One of the Rotary tables won the contest! Pastor Laura of Hope Lutheran Church and our member talked about GiveNKind providing $100.00 gym shoes for $4.00 for them to provide to a shelter in Chicago.

 

 

CRD is requesting a partnership with our BG Rotary in ref: to their first annual Spring Fling Dance.
