Last week we were honored to have Steve Dudenhoefer, founder, and Graciela Coy, President, of Ak' Tenamit where many of our club members and other Rotarians have given their talents during the years attend our meeting and tell us about the amazing success of their school in Guatemala. Stephen and Dan W. did a terrific job of organizing a fundraiser dinner the night before for Ak' Tenamit at Pete's restaurant that many of us attended.
Due to the importance of this project, the meeting date has been rescheduled to ensure that the draft vision presented to the public is as comprehensive as possible. The project team values the public’s input and apologizes for this inconvenience. Please join the project team at the rescheduled meeting on November 16 at Buffalo Grove Village Hall, 50 Raupp Boulevard, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
The meeting will be held in an open house format, meaning you can stop by anytime between 6:00 and 8:00 pm at Village Hall. We look forward to seeing you at the rescheduled meeting which will reveal the draft vision for the Lake Cook Corridor that was shaped by your feedback and ideas. This is a draft vision – and we would like to continue to receive your feedback.
All residents, business owners, property owners, community leaders and other stakeholders are invited to participate. Please join us and share your opinion and the vision for Lake Cook Corridor.
