This week our speaker is Cathy Novak of the BG Singers who will tell us about how the Singers are celebrating their 30th anniversary.

Last week was our business meeting.  Martha did Fun N Frolics about Groundhog Day and we sang for Steve Balinski's birthday.  Brian mentioned in the meeting how impactful the Literacy Nights at the Indian Trails Library have been and he mentioned that there are still dates to be filled in March - please see the article below about how to sign up.  Brian talked about our meeting on February 27th that will be at the Public Works Bldg. at 1650 Leider Lane, Buffalo Grove and we will have pizza for lunch at the building before the tour.  We have two members joining the District 6440 grants zoom seminar on February 15th.  Juliet urged members to consider joining some members of our club who are attending the RI Convention in June in Calgary, it will be worthwhile and fun.  Jason reported he is receiving applications from BG High for RYLA in March.  Dennis mentioned that the next SLSF/our club golf outing will be on August 6th, so mark your calendars.
