Last week was our business meeting. Anne K provided her member moment, her girls are doing just fine! She did the fun n frolics for the week. Juliet told everyone the District conference is on November 1st at the College of DuPage, and she would like to have more members to attend. Jason thanked everyone for their assistance at Buffalo Grove Days. Bingo had a head count of 404 and netted $6,067. Dennis D. said we had 139 golfers at the golf outing with a gross of $50,000. Captain Quack gave out happy cookies awards. We had $9,800 in online sales! Hetal thanked everyone for the parade assistance. She felt the bubbles were a big hit along with the addition of the grant recipients walking in the parade with us. We made new friends by having them walk with us! Shawn said food basket planning is coming up.
We will be looking for volunteers to help man the booth for Rotary.Contact Martha if you can volunteer for part of the day. We will be collecting various items to be recycled, household batteries, musical instruments, smart phones, and printer toner cartridges.
