Last week we had Leah Rudy and Sharon Folliard talk about Jewish Child and Family Services (JCFS).  JCFS Chicago Services provide Community Support, disability services, family support, grief and loss support with Jewish values. They work to provide Employment Talent Services 1. Vocational services (peer counseling, resume assistance 2. Service for People with Disabilities 3. HIAS  - Immigrants support.  All services are free for employers and people looking for work.

Juliet, Jason, Santosh and Martha would like help in planning and participating in this walk on October 24, 2026 at 10 am when Rotarians from Zones 25b & 29 will be participating in the World's Largest Polio Walk.  District 6440 is encouraging us to be a part of this event with 22 other districts across 13 states and two countries to raise awareness about Polio.

Stephen and Dan are excited to announce the dates for the next Ak’ Tenamit project:  The trip will be Saturday, February 20 through Tuesday, March 2, 2027.  

Buffalo Grove Rotarians (and family members) will have priority until May 31, 2026.  After that, space will be filled on a first-come first-served basis.  

BG Rotarians making their first trip to Ak’ Tenamit are eligible for a club subsidy of up to $1500.  Please contact Stephen or Dan to reserve your spot!
