Another Successful Thanksgiving Food Boxes Event

Thank you to all the volunteers who gave of their time on the many dates of the Thanksgiving food boxes event! We gave away all 150 food boxes plus the six extra food boxes. Special thanks to Bo and President Shawn for all of their efforts in planning and to Pete for all he did securing the food for this program. A great event partnering with the Wheeling club and Buffalo Grove High School.

Blood Drive Set for December 2 - Please Give If You Can!

Buffalo Grove is hosting a community blood drive from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 2, in Room 10-11 of the Alcott Center, 530 Bernard Drive.

Donors are required to provide an ID and are encouraged to prepare by eating well and staying hydrated. The blood donation process takes about one hour.

The drive conducted by Vitalant and hosted by the Buffalo Grove Health Commission.

Appointments are encouraged but not required. To make an appointment, call (877) 543-3768 or visit vitalant.org.
