Last week Leslie did a great Fun and Frolics and Mike was her collector of fines.  Leslie has fond memories of her grandfather reading her  The Night Before Christmas and our challenge was to finish the lines of certain pages.  Thanks Leslie, it was very entertaining!

Our outreach committee has been busy - on December 6th we assisted at the Senior Bingo/Birthday Party at Alcott Community Center by calling the bingo, verifying the winners, distributing prizes for special Rotary Bingo games and raffles, and passing out ice cream to the guests.  Thank you Rosemary (who called the games), Lisa, Martha, Deenie, Shawn, Bill D., Denny S., Cristen, Miriam and Jing who all volunteered.  Also, our Little Free Library project is moving along.  Martha and Lisa attended the 5th grade Girl Scout troop at Prairie School that is painting the library (that will be installed in the spring at Martha Weiss Park, one-half a block from the school) and supplying used books for sharing.

Some members were asking if the donation opportunity is still open for donations to our foundation in memory of Dennis Gilbert through our website, and yes, it is still open.  Just go to bgrotary.org and you will see the first story contains the donation button to click.  Thank you to all who have been generous in his honor.

Gabriel has given us his wish list for his year with us - these are things he would like to experience.  Please see if you can grant a wish for him!
