Last week we had a joint meeting with the Wheeling Club at Pete's restaurant, the Continental. The food was delicious, the attendance from both clubs was terrific, and our speaker, member Brian Shepard, executive director of the Indian Trails Library, was excellent. He is pictured below during his talk. The second photo is of President Quintin, Brian, Susan Dennison, Indian Trail's Communication Services Manager, prospective member Amanda Burton, Business Outreach Librarian from Vernon Area Library and former Indian Trails director Tamiye Meehan. Librarians were well represented and we heard they no longer SHHHHH! people.
We had club members represent us at the Senior Expo event on Tuesday, April 28 from 10 am to 1:30 pm at the Arboretum Club. We gave out information about Rotary, the our concert series and the Bill Reid Community Service Award. See the photos below of Past President Pam and Martha and Dan S. manning the booth. Our special guest was Past First Husband Sean.
