Santosh gave his member moment. Denny S. provided our fun n frolics and we will not see him for the next 6 months, he is heading to the hills. Tim told us about volunteering at the Buddy Baseball Fall League.
Our speaker was Amanda Moller of Greener Good. She is a Rotarian from Arlington Heights. They operate a store front at 843 N Wilke Rd, Arlington Heights with a goal of reduce, reuse, and reimagine. Their website is Greener-Good.org. They provide affordable secondhand art, craft, and educational supplies, engaging workshops, and support for schools and nonprofits. We will be collecting items for them each week at our meetings.
Bring in Dice, game pieces, paper grocery bags, crochet hooks, buttons, scissors, maps, postcards, and old playing cards for Greener Good. . Yes Dennis D. we don't need to be playing with a full deck partial works just fine.
Bring in hygiene products for BGHS Comfort Closet.
Deenie is collecting ladies belts, scarves, purses, shoes, accessories, along with women's clothing.
Martha needs books, especially children's books, for the Little Free Library we installed in Martha Weiss Park.
