"i walk" TO FIGHT AGAINST COMMUNITY HUNGER On Sunday June 25th the NW Suburban Interfaith Council will host its 4th annual 5K family walk..to raise funds to support four of our local food pantries - three being located in Buffalo Grove and all serving Buffalo Grove and its surrounding communities. The event starts with registration at 1:15 pm The walk starts at 2:00 pm at the parking area of St. Mary Parish in Buffalo Grove. This family event will stop by Hope Lutheran Church halfway through the walk to cool off for refreshments and entertainment. There is no entry fee, though any cash or check contribution would be most welcomed to help feed those in need at a time when pantry supplies are low and the demand from those in need is great. No pets please.... those under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult |
