Our next exchange student, Alek from Poland, will arrive on August 16 and will stay with our Youth Exchange Counselor, Denny Snyder, for a couple of days until Alek's host family return from their trip overseas. Anyone interested in greeting him at the airport that afternoon at 2:30 or so (after he gets through customs), please talk to Martha or Denny. He is 16 years old and lives in Warsaw with his mother who is an attorney and a widow. Alek is fluent in English and likes history, Spanish, English and politics. He swims regularly and takes climbing lessons and in the winter ice skates and skis. He said he does not have precise plans for the future, but is considering becoming a lawyer.
Alek will be attending his first meeting with our club on August 18, so let's welcome him!
