There is no regular meeting this week at Continental, but if you want to meet for an informal picnic, please bring your lunch and meet at the shelter at Green Lake Park, 1101 Green Knolls Drive in Buffalo Grove at 12:15.

We can add another if we have enough golfers.

It’s an adult day out! Enjoy an afternoon at Willow Stream Park drinking, eating, dancing and raising money for a good cause. Join us for a beer and wine tasting event, paired with snacks from local businesses. Each adult must register for either a beer flight, wine flight, or a nonalcoholic flight. With the beer and wine flights, each adult will receive 4 beer or wine paired tastings. Those who register for the nonalcoholic flight will receive tickets for 2 sodas and 2 waters. Bring your own chairs, and make it an afternoon affair. Sit back and relax to some great music by our live band, Taproom All Stars. Additional alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at the event.
In June we had a very dynamic speaker from TOTS Therapeutic Child Care Center, Agnieszka Moroni, who is getting her daycare center for kids with special needs off the ground. Also, one of our grant recipients, GiveNKind, is looking for volunteers for their second annual miniature golf tournament, and fundraiser at Par-King Skill Golf, September 11, 3-6 p.m. Lisa will give more details about this opportunity to support them at our meeting.
Buffalo Grove Park District's Environmental Action Team's Green Fair - Sunday, September 25, Mike Rylko Park (next to Farmers Market) 8 am - 12:30 pm. We will have a Rotary booth promoting our club and youth exchange. Some members have been asking what will be collected at the fair.
