Last week Dennis Depcik stumped us with Headlines - Real or Not? for Fun and Frolics. Sita Prakasan presented her classification speech as a newer member in our club. She has a very interesting background of leaving her homeland, India, to come to the U.S. and earning numerous degrees. She currently lives in Buffalo Grove and is a Client Delivery Lead and a Life Coach. Sita is married and has two children. Here is one fact that she shared with us that is quite impressive: My father, Adv.K.V.Prakash is a Guinness Book World Record Holder for creating the longest painting in the world. It was appeared in the Guinness Book of the year 2000, done with the intention of injecting the manthra of "ONE WORLD" in the minds of younger generation. This longest piece of art work depicts 192 countries in the world, as it then was, and measured a world record of 498.76 meters long and 80.6 cm wide. It was created under his supervision by 17,484 children belonging to 92 different countries, all residing in United Arab Emirates. The art work was completed in 526 hours between 17 September 1999 and 11 March 2000. |
