Last Week's Meeting

Last week Glenn Meier provided his member moment. For Fun&Frolics, Tim asked us to identify locations in Buffalo Grove based on photos he had taken, great fun! Anne Rasmussen, the Executive Director of the Vernon Area Public Library, was a guest at our lunch. Our club member, Anne, informed us of all of the wonderful events and programs that the Northwest Special Recreation Agency does for 17 local park district. Anne is the Superintendent of Development at Special Leisure Services Foundation, which is the nonprofit fundraising arm of NWSRA. She thanked our Rotary Club for our support of their programs as a grant recipient and encouraged us to volunteer for them.

The BG Rotary Showcase Luncheon on April 30

Please invite a guest or two or three to our regular lunch meeting on April 30th so we can showcase all we do. Also, please bring in your old Rotary magazines and do not rip off your name and address. Glenn has a method to conceal that info. We like to give our the RI magazines to potential members so they see the breadth of Rotary.
