Last week Chrissy and Lauren from Omni visited us and gave us information about their Holiday Gift Drive that our club members have generously participated in the past.  They passed around a signup sheet but if you were not in attendance, and would like to learn more, contact Lauren at 630-379-3270 or at lchilvers@omniyouth.org 

Here is the plaque in front of the area we supplied plants and volunteers for the planting project  at Willow Stream Park near the nature playground and opposite the pool. Jeff Weiss and another volunteer spent time over the summer weeding and watering the area and I will take another photo in the spring when the plants are blooming!  -Martha
