We had great attendance at the October 1st arboretum dedication at Green Lake Park where our club was recognized for our donations and our volunteer time.  The certified arboretum contains about 60 species of native trees and shrubs which are identified by tags containing QR codes that link to a data base describing the characteristics of the plant, its associations with pollinators and other wildlife and how to use it in residential landscapes.  After a tour of arboretum, our members helped with plantings and seed collecting.
