Jim Bradley from the Wheeling Rotary Club explained how the Wheeling Food Pantry came into existence four years ago and how we can help support this worthy effort by giving donations and/or attending their fund raising dinner/dance on Saturday, April 25 from 6 - 10 pm, catered by Outback Steakhouse.
The club consensus was to man a table at the Senior Expo event on Tuesday, April 28 from 10 am to 1:30 pm at the Arboretum Club, with members giving out the Files of Life for seniors to write down their medications, contact information and other pertinent information that first responders may need in case of an emergency. The files have a plastic holder with a magnet for the refrigerator and letter of explanation from our Rotary club. Thank you to the members who volunteered for that event, Martha will be contacting you.
