Last Weeks Meeting

Last week our club member Anne Kiwala, Superintendent of Development at the fundraising arm of NWSRA, Special Leisure Services Foundation, gave us final numbers of our golf outing and presented our club with the fundraising check. This year's golf outing was the most successful one in our 31 year history of doing our joint fundraiser with SLSF. Anne also gave us a video presentation of the many outstanding opportunities that the Northwest Special Recreation Association provides through recreation for children and adults with disabilities in cooperation with 17 member Park Districts. Picture below are Anne, Golf Committee Chair Dennis, President Brian and Megan O'Brien, Event Coordinator from NWSRA. It was a great team effort and all our club members contributed in some way!
