Last week was our Business meeting. Juliet provided her member moment. Martha provided Fun N Frolics all about the American Bison. Tara Kelly of Journeys The Road Home was inducted as our newest member. They are having a Women's Luncheon April 23rd, see Garden of Giving below.

The business meeting: Shannon sent our the latest quarterly invoices along with the Every Rotarian Every Year reminders. We discussed the fund raising from last year. We have 30 grant applicants this year. There are 186 RYLA students for this session which is the largest group since before Covid. Jason requested that the club budget two more RYLA more scholarships for next year.

CRD is requesting a partnership with our BG Rotary in ref: to their first annual Spring Fling Dance.

Raise funds for GiveNKind’s efforts to connect Chicagoland nonprofits with essential products. Be sure to join the wine pull, gift card pull, and spirit toss for even more fun! Trivia tickets are $50. Deenie is registering members of our club together as a team, so club members should register here and Deenie will register directly with GiveNKind.

 

We have scheduled a workday for the Greenhouse and Landscape Redevelopment at Neal Math and Science Academy, 1905 Argonne Dr, North Chicago, for May 10th from 9:00 to noon. We are partnering with Arlington Heights and the North Chicago clubs for this grant and need volunteers that day. More details and a signup will be coming soon.
