Last Weeks Meeting

Lisa provided a Weird But True Fun N Frolics that definitely contained some weird facts.  Rosemary Heilemann and Hetal Wallace were both awarded their first Paul Harris recognitions by Foundation Chair Tom and Martha assisted.  Congratulations to Rosemary and Hetal and we hope that more members of our club will likewise become Paul Harris Fellows to support the Rotary Foundation's various initiatives like global grants, PolioPlus, and educational programs.  Member Erika Strojinc, the Executive Director of the Buffalo Grove Park District, gave a state of the park district address and explained the projects and happenings at the district since May 1st of last year, the start of their fiscal year.  Thank you Erika for this very informative presentation.
