Last Week's Meeting
Dan Eberhardt and Shannon O’Connor from Rockin' Jump were inducted in to the Buffalo Grove Rotary Club last week.  Bill Donahue is their sponsor and Tom Kloepfer stood in for Membership Chair Deb Smith who is on vacation.

Village President Beverly Sussman gave us a State of the Village speech and updated us on what is happening in the Village.

Our exchange student, Fran, had her last day of school at Buffalo Grove High School and asked her friends to sign her Chilean flag as a remembrance of her year.

Have Trouble Viewing Your Bulletin?
If you have been caught not prepared at a meeting because you did not see your name on the Duty Roster since your computer or your phone did not show you the entire bulletin, you should not be able to use that excuse any more if you follow these tips:

On your computer, Clubrunner will ask you:  "Having trouble viewing this email?  Click here to view it online."   If you do that, the entire bulletin will appear.  This message may appear on your phone also.

On your phone, you may get a message to View Details or View Entire Message so that will allow you to see the entire bulletin.  The duty list is always the last story, for a reason.  By the way, always looking for content, so please send me anything you want included in the bulletin.

Thanks!

Craft Beer Festival - June 9
Our club had a very fun and successful Craft Beer Festival on Thursday, June 9 at County Line Tavern.  Thanks to all who organized and helped out at it!
Here is a note from President Elect Dane:

Thank you, thank you, thank you!  Due to your hard work and perseverance, we were able to raise over $3,000 (net) for the Foundation of the Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove last night!

Our MVP award goes to Rob Seitz.  Rob made custom banners, signs and clocks for the event - and he even donated his $325 winnings from the 50/50 raffle back to the foundation.  Way to go Rob!

All in all, we had a great night.  With approximately 90 attendees, we were able to spread the word about Rotary.  We had many guests who had never heard of Rotary and were eager to learn.  Countyline Tavern did a great job and would love to have us back.

Great work by all!  Remember, #bethechange

In service,
President-Elect Dane
