This Week's Meeting
This week Michael Papierniak of Eworks will our be our speaker. Feel free to bring your electronics for recycling. Eworks will take old computers, printers, and monitors and will responsibly recycle. Anything with a cord but no wooden speakers.

Last Weeks Meeting
Jason stepped in for Bo for Fun n Frolics. There were so many happy and sad bucks that we did not have enough time to quiz the tables.
Lauren Chilvers of Omni was our speaker. She brought Holiday gift cards containing the wish list of Omni clients for the holidays. Please be sure to get the unwrapped gifts to Omni by December 8th. Lauren presented the history of Omni. They currently have offices in Buffalo Grove, Wheeling, Libertyville, and coming soon to Palatine. They provide Youth and Adult counseling, Prevention, Child Abuse prevention & Family preservation, and Family Resource programs. Omni has expanded their service hours of counseling to the Buffalo Grove community.

Volunteer Opportunites
Message from Emily Petway from GiveNKing that our club supports:
 
We are seeing a heavy increase in orders and goods coming in our door as the holidays are upon us and the community need is heightened. To meet the need and our desire to move more product out so more can come in, we are looking to increase the number of volunteers we have during our regular volunteer hours this holiday season. Volunteer sessions are available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at GiveNKind (1000 Asbury Dr., Suite 5, Buffalo Grove). 👉 Sign up here: www.givenkind.org/volunteer

The Buffalo Grove Community Foundation (we partner with them for our community grants) is hosting a meaningful concert on November 20 at the Community Arts Center at 6 pm.  There is no charge for this concert and you can get tickets at buffalogrove.foundation
We have our Thanksgiving food packing that evening, but please tell your friends/family members about it.
 
 
Weekly Donations
Bring in hygiene products for BGHS Comfort Closet.
 
Martha needs books, especially children's books, for the Little Free Library we installed in Martha Weiss Park.
