On July 1st, our club met to celebrate our successes of the 2024-25 Rotary year and District Governor Marlene Frisbee installed the new officers for 2025-26. DG Frisbee, from the Woodstock Rotary Club, talked about the lesson from the movie Groundhog Day to avoid the trap of repeating the same routine and to try new ideas. Foundation Chair Tom Kloepfer awarded the following Paul Harris Fellows at the event: Cass Young (her first), Deb Smith +4 and Martha Weiss +8. Two members of the Buffalo Grove Park District, Joe Zimmermann and Dan Stanczak, joined Erika Strojinc as Corporate Members of our club. It was a great evening of fellowship, with some members enjoying golf in the afternoon. Thank you to Bill Donahue for arranging these events!
