Evan's last meeting and he did his member moment in which he thanked the Village of Buffalo and Rotary Club for the time he worked here. He will be joining Oak Park Rotary club. We wish him the best in his new position. Eric Smith thanked Evan for his good work at Village of Buffalo Grove. Dan Wolf did fun and frolics: completing the lyrics of songs. We had a good time. Our community grant recipient, David Scheffler of Willow House was our guest speaker. Willow House is a non-profit in Bannockburn. The mission of Willow House is to provide grief support and education for youth, families, schools and other communities grieving the death of a parent, sibling, or child. Their free services are where hope lives and healing begins. The vision is that no child, teen or parent grieves alone. They are looking for volunteers. Thanks to Jing for her assistance this week. |
