BLANKETS Needed
BLANKETS NEEDED

One of our grant recipients, Journey's/ The Road Home has expressed a need for blankets in preparation for the winter weather.

We would like to do our part to fill that need! Time to clean out the closets and purge!

Please bring your clean, new, or gently used blankets to the meetings on October 5th and October 12th for collection. Please put them in a bag for transport, if possible.  They can also be dropped off at Deenie's home.
Last Week's Meeting

Captain Quack presented a check to Umesh Rai the 1st prize winner of our Duck Race.

Bill talked about the history of the duck race. 13 years of racing including racing down the creek by Lake Cook Rd, racing in a pond at BG Days to now racing in Bill's backyard pool.  We had sales of $28,500 this year. Great Job everyone!!
