Governor Rodney Adams visited our club and talked with the officers of the club before our meeting.  The theme for this Rotary year is "Be a Gift to the World."  We look forward to a great year with both our club and district leadership!

Our exchange student that we host jointly with the Wheeling Club is Fran from Chile.  We are excited to get to know her and help her in her adjustment to our culture.

Our two outbound students attended their last Rotary meeting with us before departing to their host countries.  Chantel is spending a year in Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil and Kyle is in Taitung, Taiwan for a year on their Rotary exchange.  You can follow Kyle on http://kylelegge-taiwan.tumblr.com/

Please click here for information on how to fill out the duck raffle ticket that we are all successfully selling.

1.  The big push is on! We need everyone to keep selling ducks (minimum $100 per member, if possible).  We have an internal Club contest in which everyone has an opportunity to win if they are one of the most improved sellers, top sellers, and / or one of the most active sellers.  Members can get involved by selling duck tickets at other Rotary Clubs, selling tickets at our Rotary booth during BG Days, selling ducks outside of Culver's or Sunset Foods, or securing corporate sponsorships.  We will have sign-up sheets for the Rotary Booth and Clubs at Thursday's meeting.

2.  We are also asking members to turn in duck donations at every meeting to Adriane Johnson, Judy Kristan, or Bill Donahue.

3.  Please also thank everyone for participating in this important fundraiser for the Club.  The Duck Race is one of our major fundraisers, and we are so pleased with the energy and enthusiasm of our members.
