Last week we learned about the Village's new website and all of its features, including the virtual assistant, Mr. Robinson (named for our Past President Brett). Thank you Tim and Molly for this presentation. Past President Shawn ran the meeting, Rob gave a great "over or under" FunNFrolics, and we sang Happy Birthday in our traditional way to Glenn for his milestone birthday.
Jason has set up all of the volunteer activities during BG Days and we need everyone to help during this busy weekend!
You can access the signup on the website (BGrotary.org) by:
Logging into Clubrunner from our website and going to the Member Area
Click on Volunteers in the navigation menu, then click View Signup Lists.
In the list, you will see the signup list "2024 BG Days Info Booth", "Duck Race" that also includes the Aug. 10th Site Sale at Sunset Foods, "Parade" and "Bingo" and a link next to it that says "Sign Up List"
Open the list and you will see all of the available spots
OR you can use the ClubRunner app, go to the Events tab, open the event in the list and select the signup button inside of the event.
It is almost back to school time, which can only one thing, BG Days are near and we would love to have you walk with us in the parade in September 1st. The parade route is along Buffalo Grove Road and down Deerfield Parkway ending at the Fitness Center and Reiner Park. Rotarians will be wearing a bright “Rotarian at Work t-shirt” to highlight all the good work we do for the community. Please use this link to order your t-shirt if you plan on walking with us. Hetal Wallace or Juliet Ziak will be updating everyone with more information for the day as it gets closer. So for now stay tuned, sign-up and get your self a bright Rotary shirt.
Keep these dates in mind to help man the booths we will have to increase awareness of our amazing club. Martha will be circulating sign up sheets for these events:
