Last week, the Rotary Clubs of Buffalo Grove and Wheeling came together to help brighten the holiday for families in our community. Through a coordinated effort, our members, along with volunteers from Buffalo Grove High School, sorted, packed, and handed out 150 boxes of food to local families.

The event was hosted at Buffalo Grove High School and began on Tuesday with the delivery of food items. Volunteers worked diligently on Wednesday to organize and pack the food into boxes, ensuring that each family received everything they needed for a holiday meal.

On Thursday evening and Saturday morning, the boxes were distributed to families, bringing smiles and relief to those who might otherwise have gone without. The energy and dedication of everyone involved made this annual event a success once again.

We would like to extend a special thank you to the students at Buffalo Grove High School who volunteered their time to help with sorting and packing. Their enthusiasm and teamwork were instrumental in making this event possible.

Events like these highlight the spirit of Rotary and the power of community collaboration. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and look forward to continuing our work to support those in need.
