At a recent club meeting, we had the privilege of honoring one of our own, Rob Seitz, as the club’s newest Major Donor to the Rotary Foundation. This milestone reflects Rob’s 18 years of dedication to Rotary’s mission of “Service Above Self,” during which he has served in several leadership roles.
Donna Foley, the District Major Donor Chair, joined the meeting to present Rob with a commemorative pin, crystal, and certificate in recognition of his generosity. During her remarks, Donna emphasized the importance of contributions to the Rotary Foundation, which fuel both local and global projects. She highlighted impactful initiatives such as Ak’ Tenamit in Guatemala, which provide vital resources to underserved communities. In his acceptance speech, Rob expressed his gratitude for the club and shared how his Rotary experience has been life changing. “I’ve become a better person because of Rotary and the incredible people in this club,” he said. Rob’s generosity is a testament to the spirit of giving that defines our club. Through contributions to the Rotary Foundation, we enable transformative projects that make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve, both locally and globally. We invite our community to learn more about the Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove and how we work together to create a positive impact. Ready to make a difference? Join us today! ![]() |
