The Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove will once again host Bingo Night and a charity Duck Race during the annual Buffalo Grove Days celebration, August 28 – September 1 at Mike Rylko Community Park in Buffalo Grove.
The Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove will once again host Bingo Night and a charity Duck Race during the annual Buffalo Grove Days celebration, August 28 – September 1 at Mike Rylko Community Park in Buffalo Grove.
Rotary Bingo Night takes place on Thursday, August 28 during the first night of the festival under the main pavilion at the center of the festival grounds. There will be a total of 10 games, with a prize purse of $1,600. Bingo books at the door are $5 or 5 for $20. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the first game getting underway at 6:30 p.m.
The Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove will also sell ducks for the annual Buffalo Grove Days Duck Race, held Sunday, August 31, during the festival. Over $3,000 in prize winnings will be given to 13 winners, with the winning duck taking home $1,500.
Participants can purchase ducks on the Buffalo Grove Rotary website at www.bgrotary.org/duckrace, at the Rotary booth during the festival, or from any Buffalo Grove Rotarian. The duck race will be live streamed on the Buffalo Grove Rotary Facebook page on Sunday, August 31 at 5:15 p.m.
